The paper of {\it F.-Y. Liu} “Pricing currency options based on fuzzy techniques” [Eur. J. Oper. Res. 193, No. 2, 530–540 (2009; Zbl 1153.91544)] has been retracted by the Editor-in-Chief because parts of this paper are identical to {\it H.-Ch. Wu} [Comput. Oper. Res. 31, No. 7, 1069–1081 (2004; Zbl 1062.91041)].
Anhand dieser Notiz [Retraction notice to “Pricing currency options based on fuzzy techniques'’ [EOR 193 (2009) 530-540], Eur. J. Oper. Res. 201, No. 3, 971 (2010; Zbl 1173.91391)] dürfen wir Elsevier auch einmal partiell loben - der Rückzug des plagiierenden Artikels erfolgte innerhalb eines Jahres, also in durchaus angemessener Zeit.(Besser wär’s natürlich, es fiele vorher auf).
